Sutton Coldfield, North Midlads.
The inaugural lunchtime meeting held on Wednesday 20 February attracted some 40 people inclusive of a few wives and I thank those of you who attended. The meeting and luncheon were well received.
There was resounding support for the formation of a Sutton Coldfield / North Birmingham Group , Wednesday being the preferred day with the venue for the next meetings being the Plough & Harrow Hostelry, Slade Road, Roughley assembling 11 - 11.30 with lunch served from noon onwards.
Partners are welcome to attend as is the wearing of insignia etc.
If you know of other ex RAF personnel (NS, Regular, WAAF/WRAF, irrespective if they are current members of our association) who might be interested, please pass on the details of this meeting/luncheon and ask them to contact Ron direct.
As it will be essential to let the hostelry have knowledge of numbers/selections Ron asks that you to call him and leave details of your meal requirements and then please send cheque for £5 each made payable to Mr R Read and he will settle total food account.
